Today I was informed that my dear friend Nicole passed away. I have so many fond memories with this lady. Roadtrip to San Francisco, karaoke nights, slumber parties, and so many more that just fill my head.

This is one of the last photos I captured of this beautiful lady. I am so blessed to have known her.

I'm sure you've all heard the saying, "everything happens for a reason" well, for Brandon & Maya that is true. A while back, Maya was in a car accident that sent her to the hospital, Brandon just so happened to be the EMT during her ride to the hospital, and as soon as she was released they exchanged numbers and now the rest remains history.

Brandon and Maya are such a lovely couple and we can't wait to shoot their April wedding.

Kids are always a little interesting to photograph, sometimes you have to make silly faces, or need a cute little stuffed animal, but with Kyler, all we needed to say was "GO DUCKS!" and he'd look at us wide eyed and yell back, "GO BEAVERS!!" His dad Andy, is trying to change that since he's a big time Ducks fan.
